Private Pay @ Historical Lows, Public Handouts @ Historical Highs

USA Today reports:

Paychecks from private business shrank to their smallest share of personal income in U.S. history during the first quarter of this year, a USA TODAY analysis of government data finds.

At the same time, government-provided benefits — from Social Security, unemployment insurance, food stamps and other programs — rose to a record high during the first three months of 2010.

Who needs the private sector?  What a ridiculous waste of resources.  Clearly no one should have to work since the government has a printing press.

Since the government can print money, its only fair that they print enough money so that people don’t have to work, much like Congress, rather than having to slave all day at a private sector job.

I’m personally thinking about quitting and going on unemployment for the rest of my life.

Its a lot easier to chill out at home with beer and video games than to actually work for a paycheck.
