Whether you’re on the left or the right, our enemy is the same. We need to put an end to the partisan bickering, embrace common sense, and stand together to defeat this threat to our society and way of life.

In the early 80s, these fat cats earned 9% of our total national income. Now they make up 25% of all earnings, sqeezing the rest of us to a pulp. Our inflation adjusted earnings have flatlined for the last 20 years, despite our productivity being 4 times as high. These guys have us working 4 times harder, for less pay and less job security, and they’re raking in record profits.

What do you think happens when we do business with countries that do not follow international trade rules? Why, we’re forced to compete with them. How do we compete? Why, we’re forced to take up their labor practices. What do you think their labor rules are? Lol, there AREN’T ANY. The result? We import/buy their cheap labor to replace our own. The upper management makes more money, while the rest of us are out of the job or forced to work harder for less.

You can disagree with me here Michael – I’m not sure trickle down works as well as the right wing claims it does – however, we can agree on who the enemy is, and THAT is what’s important!

Rules are what made them rich.

    We need less rules.

Trickle down economics assumes government hands all the money to the rich people. What we need is government not to hand any money to anybody.

You are forced to use their crap paper money.

You are forced to use a banking system that artificially suppresses interest rates.

You are forced to use a market in which nearly half of all spending is conducted at the behest of government.

You are forced to fork over half your paycheck in pay roll taxes, income taxes, energy taxes, food taxes, vice taxes, taxes taxes taxes.

You are basically forced to take a massive dick up your ass every day.

All the regulations that we have now were written by the banks and by other titans of private industry to give them an ADVANTAGE in the markets.

    @Michael Suede
That is true, and they use the media to trick us into thinking that the regulations will protect us from something, when in reality it’s just more butt fu*king. Case in point – the recent health care bill. Who was it advertised as being for? Us. Who does it really work for? The Health Insurance lobby.

Everyone must now have health insurance, provided by super large corporations that have (FEDERAL MANDATED) regional monopolies.

Not everyone can afford health insurance. Not everyone even WANTS it. There are people – out there in the wilderness – who live by their own rules and grow their own food. And now they have to go out of their way and pay out of their pocket something they do not want. And if they don’t, they can *inexplicably* be thrown in jail for tax evasion.

Some could say that they need to ‘get with the program’ and live a normal life like everyone else. But who are we to say how one should live? We should focus on our own lives, live, and let live.

I remember there was an argument a while back – that people are also forced to pay for car insurance, and thus it isn’t a big deal. This is half true. The thing is, you are not forced to drive a car. If you don’t want to pay for the insurance, you can ride a motor-scooter or the bus, or walk. In some states (such as mine), you don’t even need a license to drive those scooters. Granted, it’s not the best way to go about things – a car is safer – insurance will save your financial ass when you get into a wreck – but these are decisions best left up to the individual. Just like health care should be.

Now, as a self-described centrist, I supported the health care INTENT. The original idea. The advertisement. Universal amazing Canadian style super awesome health care. That tantalizing Whopper with sparkling vegetables, dripping with fresh goodness on top of a perfectly grilled patty… but what we got – much like what happens to us in daily life (and at Burger King) – does not meet our expectations.

It was not what was advertised. They did a bait and switch on us, so that we would support a bill that would then proceed to rape us even more. As a young but politically minded individual, I quickly learned that this was not an isolated incident… this is how they pass all kinds of bills. And… everything else is feel good filler bullshit, or some personal pork project.

And the scary thing is something few people have noticed:

People are mad, but they aren’t sure exactly what they’re mad about. They haven’t thought about the details of why they are being screwed. So they are left open to manipulation by the mega-corp controlled media – the entire MSM including Fox – to do the continued bidding of those very same people who screwed them over to begin with.

Look into the past, there were angry people in Germany around the 1930s. They had every right to be angry then as they do now. But they were left open to manipulation, and their anger was put to use by power hungry sociopaths. Then as of now… There is nothing you can’t do with a good crisis. Mmmm… who was it that said that again?

    @Michael Suede

Government is a bunch of fuckers that gives you nothing and takes everything.

Government can not give you healthcare.

Government can only put a gun to a doctors head and force him to care for you.

Government can only loot some other guy’s pocketbook and force him to pay for you.

Government can not produce anything of any value what-so-ever.

Therefore when you look to government to solve your problems, you are asking permission to loot and enslave people.

Stop being a looting slave owner.
