Looks like another win for plasma cosmology.
Comets are made out of rock.
Highly collimated jets emanating from one end of a solid piece of rock is not a dirty half-melted snowball. Every comet NASA will ever visit in the future will look exactly the same – a charred, burnt, cratered, piece of solid stone.
The final nail in the coffin: see those jets in the shadow areas of the comet where there is no sun light?
That “jet” is emitting its OWN light, it is not “dust” being reflected on by the Sun.
It is an electrical plasma emitting its own light in a glow discharge.
