The reason for its name is that many of the prominent Austrian economists were from Austria.

I believe that most universities teach neo-classical economics (Austrian economics is ridiculed by mainstream economists, pretty much like libertarianism actually). I don’t know if there is a university where you can get a degree specifically in Austrian economics, but Walter Block is an economics professor at Loyola University New Orleans. I don’t know if you know Walter Block, but he is awesome. If you don’t know him, look him up.
