		<description><![CDATA[I had a lengthy discussion with another person on a similar issue, and we concluded that the only real answer to this type of question is that...we want it.  That&#039;s right, we want it.  Why?  Because let&#039;s face it, at our most basic level, despite the advent of technological and information age, we are still stupid.  We give our consent to the public servants entrusted to lead us as a society, but we never follow up on what they&#039;re doing with our civil liberties and rights.  We failed in our duty to ensure our leaders are governing responsibly.  Thus, our perpetual stupidity rears its ugly head.]]></description>
