“the single mom is better off earnings gross income of $29,000 with $57,327 in net income & benefits than to earn gross income of $69,000 with net income and benefits of $57,045.”
I’d also like to point out that there’s nothing that says a “single” mom can’t have a live-in boyfriend or collect child support as well. It would be better for a woman to have a child out of wedlock, while the father continued to live with the mother providing his income and support, than it would be for the two to get married. Why get married when you can suck down tens of thousands in benefits by remaining single?
