From where did this information come?  I have been saying things like this for years, but have no idea the source.  Is it existentialism?  Stoicism?  Regardless, you are correct about the observation.  I do, however, disagree with your thoughts pertaining to the fact that if you were born into different circumstances, that you would, in fact, still be asleep.  Intuition and a thirst for knowledge, I think, are somewhat inherent, but do require some cultivation.  If you look at the Myers Briggs test, you would notice that intuition is one of the personality traits.  However, I agree with Seamus Light, that one could not possibly be any more contented to be asleep, as well as in agreement of the mind set of a statist.]]></description>
