Lupe Fiasco Kicked Off Stage at Obama Inauguration

Lupe Fiasco played at Obama’s Inauguration and had a few choice words for the prez.  ”Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit.  That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either. I’m part of the problem, my problem is I’m peaceful.”

Spin notes that he was kicked off of the stage because:

According to tweets from Foreign Policy reporter Josh Rogin, Fiasco “played one anti-war song for 30 min and said he didn’t vote for Obama and eventually was told to move on to the next song.” When the rapper wouldn’t do so, security guards came onstage and ushered him away.

I would be peeing my pants with epic fits of laughter if I was there.  Too bad a video of that thirty minutes doesn’t exist.  This video is of him getting escorted off the stage.

    I realize the venue was one intended to praise and worship Obama, the anointed one. But don’t you think there’s a tipping point where people should have the right to sue for their own First Amendment rights being violated?

    Lupe is awesome. Way to throw their own tactics back at them. Repeating the same song over and over again is much like the years of war propaganda we’ve been listening to for over a decade. People that criticize his actions can keep their blinders on.
