The Washington Examiner reports:
Sen. Lindsey Graham is one of the strongest advocates of an American military strike against the Assad regime in Syria. He was unhappy when President Obama decided to seek congressional authorization for an attack, and then unhappy when his fellow lawmakers voiced disapproval of the president’s plan. Graham believes the diplomatic path chosen by the administration will lead to a debacle.
Given all that, Graham now says he will work with a bipartisan group of senators to craft a resolution authorizing the president to use military force — not against the Syrian regime but against Iran. In an appearance on Fox News’ Huckabee program over the weekend, Graham argued that such a resolution is essential, because American inaction in Syria will encourage Iran to go forward with its nuclear weapon program, eventually leading toward a Mideast conflagration if the U.S. doesn’t intervene.
Here’s what I said 9/6/2013:
This whole thing is a joke.
If you can’t see this for the farce it is, you’re only making yourself look like a sycophant.
This is obviously about Iran and maintaining control of the petrodollar. That is it. That is the ONLY reason we give a crap about this tin pot dictator and the al Qaeda foreign rebels who are trying to depose him.
Here’s what I said 9/13/2013:
Al-Qaeda is a creation of the CIA that was born out of the Soviet-Afghan conflict. They are a tool used by American intelligence agencies to get foreign states to do their bidding. They are also useful for blaming false-flags on. The CIA can’t go around blowing up World Trade Centers if there is no one to blame the attack on. The WTC attack was used to get us into Iraq and Afghanistan.
Similarly, you can bet a new false flag will be used to get us into Syria and Iran. Iran is the biggest threat because they are selling oil outside of the dollar system. This undermines the US ability to continue with its money printing.
It looks like Graham wants to by-pass the false flag part and just go for the Iranian jugular without any popular support at all. They probably got scared off by all of the information coming out about the US preparing for a disaster and undocumented nuclear weapons movement.
